Excursions involving travel outside the school environment are important social, cultural and educational experiences. These are usually an integral part of a unit of work being completed in class.
Information regarding the details and cost of excursions are forwarded prior to the activity.
Excursions are not compulsory, however, parents who have difficulty financing an excursion are advised to contact the Principal as assistance is sometimes available.
Parents visiting the school between 9.00am and 2.55pm as helpers, must be trained in child protection procedures. When helping, they must sign in at the Office and receive a Helper’s Badge as proof of identification.

Written reports are provided twice yearly. Parent / teacher interviews are conducted early in the year. Follow up interviews may be arranged throughout the year by making an appointment with the class teacher.
